About NRI

Nordic Health Research and Innovation Networks (NRI-Networks or in short NRI) is an independent, non-profit organisation working to promote health research and innovation in the Nordic region.

NRI is based on partnership where the partners are university hospitals, universities and other research organisations, the pharmaceutical industry, the medical technical industry, governmental bodies and patient organisations.

There are four primary tasks of NRI:

Conferences - the NRI-Conference is arranged yearly. It is the primary arena for the Nordic health research community for exchange of knowledge and transfer of competency from one country to another.

Development - NRI acts as a catalyst and facilitator for initiatives that our members find interesting and challenging.

Projects - NRI initiates projects in order to develop our knowledge base.

Information - NRI is developing nordicnetworks.org as the common website for information dissemination about health research and innovation in the Nordic countries.
