Bibi Hølge-Hazelton holds a PhD degree and she is the Head of Nursing and Allied Health Research at the University Hospital Sjælland. Her work is concentrated in the fields of Nursing Science, Primary Care and Public Health. She is associated professor at the Research Unit for General Practice at Department of Public Health in the University of Copenhagen.
As a researcher Bibi Hølge-Hazelton is primarily interested in two areas: First concerns organizational learning, including research capacity building. The second concerns young people who are seriously and/or chronically ill focusing on user perspectives relating to cancer and diabetes.
Currently, she works on research projects concerning capacity building, research management and young people with cancer.
She recently published an article (January 2016) in Nordic Journal of Nursing Research is “Under the same umbrella: A model for knowledge and practice development”
