Nordic Summit 2015 Official Summary

In 2015, the Nordic Summit focused on several important themes: The Nordic Council of Ministers health focus, antibiotic resistance, register-based research and the future Nordic cooperation.


Main conclusions from the Nordic Summit 2015

  • The Nordic Summit delegates will send a joint letter to the Nordic Health and Care Ministers stating their concerns regarding antibiotic resistance.
  • The Nordic countries will initiate a joint effort to establish collaboration between the Nordic heath registers. This cooperation should include both new and established registers. The focus on Nordic collaboration is especially important when establishing new registers.
  • The Nordic Summit 2015 was a success and as a result, it was decided that the meeting would be continued. The organizers received positive feedback from the delegates, who believe it was an important arena for cooperation between the Nordic countries.
